No not you, your cars! Park far and away. Find a spot where there is only one other spot next to you. Lock your doors and hide yo sheeet. Door dings and scratches can ruin the holidays.
What are some other good tips to keep your car safe?

Be judgmental, people who maintain and like their cars probably will be mindful of the cars surrounding it. If it has many dings and looks crummy stay away.

I park at the very tip top of parkades. With the winters we get here, it's super effective.

Don't go to war over a parking space and increase your situational awareness in a parking lot during the holiday season.

Get a jeep. park anywhere.
I've lost count of how many times I've seen stuff like this happen. they even clip curbs, and park half on the parking space.

I park really far away. If that's not possible or the lot is full, I try to park next to cars that are way nicer than mine, or look like they are well taken care of.

When I go to the supermarket there is always a white Maserati QP in the lot, I always park next to it because I know that guy isn't going to come anywhere near my door with his door.

If I need to park close to someone, I take a picture of our cars with their plate number clearly showing. If there's a dent and no note, you're getting a hit-and-run, you piece of shit.
